The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources praises the role of the Social Development Bank in supporting business
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, honored the Social Development Bank for its efforts in supporting the program, and the Executive Vice President of the Business Sector at the Social Development Bank, Mr. Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamidi, received the honorary award at an honoring ceremony held by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to support the “Alif” program. “Mile for Entrepreneurship” which aims to enable entrepreneurship in the industrial and logistics sector, to contribute to achieving the ambitions of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by providing a package of enablers and incentives to support promising investment opportunities.
The honor was based on the bank’s contributions to the success of the program’s requirements and its support for empowering 40 entrepreneurial trainees who represent the first batch.
The Social Development Bank’s participation in the “One Thousand Miles for Entrepreneurship” program, through Dulani Business Center, the enabling arm for non-financial services at the Social Development Bank, by providing specialized training programs in the field of establishing industrial projects, specialized consultations for entrepreneurs, and financing preparation programs to support small and micro-enterprise owners. Small businesses and freelancers, by providing a package of development programs, training courses and consultations in the financial, administrative, marketing and project establishment fields.
It should be noted that the Social Development Bank provided a number of enabling services to entrepreneurs, including financial and non-financial services.
